Travel Guide is a city guide that displays information about your current location and your surroundings -everywhere in the world.
Travel Guide searches Wikipedia articles that have been tagged close to your location and displays their content. Most images, big lists and tables are removed to improve readability and reduce the amount of data transferred. You can focus on the amazing, uncluttered content.
Travel Guide can find and display up to 500 locations around you on a 10 kilometer (6.2 mi) radius.
Travel Guide can speak out loud the description so you can focus on looking sights instead of staring the screen. Currently we are supporting over 30 languages, including English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Swedish and Finnish among others. Please note that you get location descriptions with more languages, but not every language can be spoken by Travel Guide.
You can get a turn-by-turn navigation from your current location to the place you are viewing.
Application works currently only in online mode, so take this into account while traveling to avoid roaming charges.
